The Wave, video boards and other random thoughts from the Cell

Despite losing two of three, this was one of the better weekends for White Sox baseball, with large crowds at U.S. Cellular Field, aided in part by an influx of Yankees fans.

But one thing that stood out while watching Saturday’s games from the stands was the Sox desperately need a bigger video board in centerfield. The two giant ads on either side are as prominent as the video board itself, and it looks even smaller now when compared to the left field video board at Wrigley Field and others around the game.

The left field video board is outdated as well.
