The Impact of Luis Robert’s Bat Since Returning to the White Sox lineup

Related Topics: Chicago White Sox, Luis Robert

Since returning to the lineup a couple of weeks ago, Robert has contributed to the White Sox offense immediately, hitting .367/.404/.571 with two home runs and seven RBIs. The wheels seem to be back as well, with Robert scoring nine runs and getting a stolen base.

Not looking like he has missed too many steps since returning from his injury rehab on August 9, Robert has hit safely in nine of 12 games since returning from injury, with multi-hit efforts in half of those games.

While the White Sox are only .500 in the 12 games since Robert’s return, they are 5-1 in the games in which La Pantera has had multi-hits and 3-0 in his three-hit games — including Tuesday night’s 5-2 White Sox victory in Toronto, in which he set the table by leading off the game with a hit.
