Ethan Katz didn’t want to get too revved up about the early success of the Chicago White Sox starters, who have the best collective ERA in baseball.
“I’m not the type of guy that gets overly excited,” Katz said during a Saturday conference call. “When the season’s over and things go right, then I’ll be excited, I guess you can say. I just go day by day. I’m happy with where they’re at.
“I feel that they give us a great opportunity to win each day. I know there are going to be bumps in the road, and how fast we can get back on track is the biggest thing.
