The Unbreakable Bond
There’s always a special connection among teammates and the bond is even greater with a championship team. When members of the 2005 White Sox gathered yesterday to meet the media before the second game of the doubleheader as part of 2005 World Championship Reunion Weekend, it was a sight to behold.
In between interviews, there was Frank Thomas greeting Orlando “El Duque” Hernandez with Timo Perez looking on (top photo below). Paulie reunited with Jermaine Dye and Jon Garland (second photo) and you saw Joe Crede deep in conversation with Geoff Blum, whosoonwalked away to speak to reporters (third photo).
