Sports media week in review: Ozzie Guillén’s takedown of Josh Donaldson, Scottie Pippen’s strong opinions ... and a shirtless A-Rod

It was another busy week of watching, listening to and reading about sports, including a feud between the Chicago White Sox and Josh Donaldson, an All-Star marketing ploy by Major League Baseball and the sight of a shirtless Alex Rodriguez lounging in the ocean.

1. WMVP-AM 1000′s David Kaplan had a discussion with co-host Jonathan Hood on whether it was OK to put a bag of your dog’s poop into someone else’s garbage bin while on a walk. Kaplan was pro-poop drop. Hood was anti-poop drop. I don’t have a dog in this fight, but nothing makes me click stations on my car radio like a conversation on dog poop, except perhaps a conversation on betting on baseball.
