Sox Walk It Off to End Mariners Winning Streak

The Sox offense struck first in the third inning. Tim Anderson singles on a ground ball to center fielder Julio Rodríguez, scoring Carlos Pérez.

Trayce Thompson would add some insurance in the bottom of the sixth with a 2-run homer to left center field, bringing home Oscar Colás and putting the Sox up 3–0.

But, Seattle was looking to keep their win streak alive. Josh Rojas singled on a soft bunt to first to score Jose Caballero, making the score 3–1 in the seventh.

The Mariners would go on to score 3 in the top of the ninth inning.
