The 22-year-old Texan struck out the side in his first inning. And his last inning. The ones in between were pretty good too.
Kopech fanned a season-high 11 over six innings Saturday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk in Triple-A Charlotte’s 3-1 victory over the Durham Bulls.
