By wins probability added, Reynaldo López was tonight’s MVP. According to FanGraphs, he added .344 wins for the White Sox with his excellent performance. López pitched six and one-third innings without allowing any runs.

The White Sox allowed only one extra base hit (a double) tonight, and it wasn’t until the top of the ninth with two outs. This is an excellent way to win a game, which the Sox did.

Since the All-Start break, López has an ERA of 2.13. In that span of six games, he has had four quality starts.
