Six Pack of Stats: Royals 7, White Sox 2

Yikes.

Another Dallas Keuchel start went haywire. Not even a two-hour rain delay, or Stacey King gracing the broadcasting booth, could change the lefthander’s fortunes. The White Sox fell, 7-2, to the Royals on a late Friday night/early Saturday morning.

The Starters

Keuchel’s velocity is “mild” on Stacey King’s Hot Sauce Heat Scale, but even that would be too endearing of an adjective to describe this last outing.

A sweet start, with a 1-2-3 first inning, quickly turned sour as seven hits and two walks over the next two-plus innings begat a 6-0 Royals lead, which could’ve been worse if Yasmani Grandal didn’t throw out Michael A.
