Six of one: Half-dozen homers can’t save Sox in 12-8 loss

The Chicago White Sox’s 12-8 loss to the Angels on Thursday was just your garden variety, hit a half a dozen homers but still get blown out game.

José Abreu and Daniel Palka both went deep twice, with Nicky Delmonico and Avisaíl García also left the yard, but the White Sox failed to hold a lead at any point after the second inning.

Dylan Covey was drubbed for nine hits, six earned, two walks, and two homers while mustering just two Ks over 4 23 innings, ending with a game score of 18 that was his second-worst of the season.
