Former White Sox outfielder Scott Podsednik will join the Sox pregame and postgame shows on CSN Chicago, the network announced Thursday.
Podsednik will team with host Chuck Garfien and analyst Bill Melton throughout the Sox season, starting with opening day Monday against the Tigers at Guaranteed Rate Field. Podsednik will also contribute to other CSN programs, including SportsTalk Live, In the Loop and the White Sox Talk podcast.
Podsednik filled in for Steve Stone during some Sox broadcasts in the past.
“I’ve always loved this city so much and had some memorable years playing for the White Sox organization,” Podsednik said in a statement from CSN.
