Scott Boras wants the baseball playoffs to take place in December at neutral stadiums

With the 2020 baseball season delayed, Major League Baseball is searching for ways to have some semblance of a normal season. Right now there are more questions than answers, but there are plenty of suggestions.

Agent Scott Boras has a few ideas of what could and should happen. According to the Los Angeles Times, he has submitted proposals for how a 162-game schedule starting on June 1 could work and how a 144-game schedule starting on July 1 could work.

The eye-popping element of both plans is that the entirety of the playoffs would take place in December in the league’s eight domed stadiums (Milwaukee, Seattle, Toronto, Miami, Tampa Bay, Arizona, Texas, Houston) and three Southern California stadiums (LA Angels and Dodgers, San Diego).
