Ryan Burr’s High School Catcher: “No Stage Was Ever Too Big For Him”

Adam Gauthier was an outstanding college catcher at Dartmouth and is now playing ball in a professional league in Michigan. He also was one of White Sox reliever Ryan Burr’s first backstops. From the age of 12 through high school in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Adam caught Ryan, who is developing into a valuable piece in the Sox bullpen.

For years baseball people have done scouting reports on the soon-to-be 25-year-old Burr, who excelled at Arizona State after his exemplary high school career and was a 2015 fifth-round draft choice by the Diamondbacks.
