DETROIT-- The White Sox continue their nine-game, 10-day road trip with a four-game series in Detroit, knowing the clock is ticking.
If they don't start showing some consistency, the front office is expected to make moves before the July 31st trading deadline.
The dismissal of manager Robin Ventura is not expected to be one of those moves, despite the cries of disgruntled fans. Ventura said he does feel support from the higher-ups.
"There’s give and take there," Ventura said. "They’re frustrated with what we’re doing too, as a team, the wins and losses part of it.
