Robert shines in Southern League All-Star Game, MLB’s prospect rankings

Tuesday was a good day for White Sox outfield prospect Luis Robert on a few different fronts. Not only was the 21-year-old named the MVP of the Class-AA Southern League All-Star Game, but has was also elevated to u21165 overall among MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 prospects list in recognition of his impressive first half of the season.

The Cuban-born outfielder took home the MVP hardware on Tuesday after going 2-for-3 with a double, triple, two runs batted in, and a third at-bat that just missed clearing the fences. His performance at the plate led the North All-Stars to a 7–3 win.
