No explosives found after bomb threat at Huntley High School

Authorities are investigating a 15-year-old boy who made bomb threats Thursday against Huntley High School, although no dangerous materials have been found.

The school resource officer was notified about noon that the student “had made a comment that he made bombs at home and wanted to bring them to school,” according to a statement from Huntley police.

The student was interviewed at the school and said “he had made the comment, but that he did not have any intention of acting on the comment,” police said. Authorities searched the boy and his belongings but did not find any dangerous items.
