Nick Madrigal and Edwin Encarnacion suffer shoulder injuries in the White Sox’s 3-2 win over the Brewers

After losing starting pitchers Reynaldo Lopez and Carlos Rodon and shortstop Tim Anderson to injuries in the first 10 games, the Sox suffered a couple more blows Tuesday night in Milwaukee in a 3-2 win over the Brewers at Miller Park.

Injuries to rookie second baseman Nick Madrigal and designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion put a damper on an otherwise successful night as the Sox won their sixth straight game and finished their first road trip with a 6-2 record.

Madrigal, who made his major-league debut Friday in Kansas City, injured his left shoulder in the third while trying to advance from first to third base on Luis Robert’s single to center.
