Jose Abreu watched as center fielder Luis Robert caught Willians Astudillo’s fly ball for the final out of the game Thursday against the Minnesota Twins.

The moment hit the Chicago White Sox first baseman — he was headed to the playoffs for the first time in his career.

“It was an incredible moment,” Abreu said through an interpreter before Friday’s game against the Reds at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. “Indescribable for me. All the emotions, all the feelings that we had as a team and me personally at that moment, it was good, it was very emotional.
