Meet the nine-year-old cancer survivor who designed Michael Kopech’s T-shirt

Two separate and different journeys have become intertwined and are now joining forces to create a fundraiser this season for the White Sox. Young Sox fan Bradley Godish’s journey has inspired White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech to launch Kopech’s Big Kut Sweepstakes.

Kopech, in partnership with Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC), has launched Kopech’s Big Kut Sweepstakes to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana and CWSC. As part of the effort launched in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Kopech has pledged to grow out his hair through the end of the year to donate for natural-hair wigs for children who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment.
