Bear Woods and Marcus Ball were sitting next to each other in the visiting locker room the other night, having spent almost three hours next to each other on the field. It seemed almost certain that, after they had parted physically, the Toronto Argonauts linebackers would connect again through text messages.
“A text I sent the other day was him holding the East Final trophy,” Woods said with a smile. “After sending that picture of him, I said, ‘I need one of these.'”
The next text was a picture of the Grey Cup, with another message: “I need one of these.
