Leury Garcia emerged as the Sox hero for the second straight day. On Tuesday vs. the Reds, Garcia pounded out three hits and drove in four runs in the 10–9 road win. Yesterday at Camelback Ranch vs. the Diamondbacks, Leury hit an opposite field single over the left fielder’s head with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth to give the Good Guys a 3–2 walk-off victory (see video above). Scoring the winning run was young Dominican prospect Micker Adolfo, who walked to lead off the inning.
