Lynn followed his own advice Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers, knocking in two runs with a second-inning single to right field.
Lynn was in All-Star form in his normal role on the mound, allowing one run on six hits in six innings for the Sox in a 3-1 victory in front of 36,887 at American Family Field.

“(Lynn) said, ‘It’s got to be a good day when you drive in more than you give up,’ ” Sox manager Tony La Russa said.
