Kris Bryant will be held out for the fourth consecutive game Friday night when the Chicago Cubs face the crosstown rival White Sox at Wrigley Field.
Bryant will test his sore left wrist prior to the game, manager David Ross said. Hernan Perez will make his first start at second base for the Cubs, with David Bote remaining at third against veteran left-hander Dallas Keuchel.
Third baseman Yoan Moncada is out of the Sox lineup. Manager Ricky Renteria will address Moncada’s status prior to Friday night’s game.
