The plan coming out of spring training was for J.B. Shuck to be the White Sox's fourth outfielder and left-handed pinch-hitter.
Fate intervened with an injury to Austin Jackson and as a result, Shuck has found himself as the everyday center fielder.
"Obviously, you never want anybody to get hurt, but I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to play pretty much every day," Shuck said. "I'm just going to go out there and try to help any way I can to win games.
