Chicago native Jabari Parker has heard the words “welcome home” countless times since signing with the Bulls on July 14. But for the South Sider, few things compare to stepping onto the mound at Guaranteed Rate Field as a Chicago Bull.
“I’m so privileged to be here tonight,” said Parker. “Once a South Sider, always a South Sider.”
Parker threw out a first pitch on Tuesday in honor of Bulls Night, which included special appearances by Bob Love, Mickey Johnson, Benny the Bull, the Luvabulls and the Bucket Boys.
