Garrett Crochet returned to the mound after a spectacular performance on Opening Day. The White Sox faced former White Sox pitcher, Reynaldo Lopez, and the Atlanta Braves. Garrett Crochet struck out 8 and earned his 100th career strikeout.
The strong pitching performance by Garrett Crochet was coupled with a great defensive grab in the top of the fourth to get Ozzie Albies out at first.
The White Sox bats came alive in the bottom of the 6th when Andrew Benintendi led off the inning with a bunt single followed by a Yoán Moncada walk. Luis Robert Jr.
