For those of you confused by the proceedings for the headline above, don’t be, as our position has been consistent on Mike Clevinger for more than a year.
We had considerable group and individual staff discussion again this season, coming to the conclusion that we will not be covering his time with the team in 2024.
However, in an effort to maintain some sort of coverage continuity, we will continue to commit to recapping all 162 games of the regular season. We’ll do our best to provide a solid game story, but frankly there’s a lot of emotion tied up in these games, none of it good.
