The endless hellscape that is the 2021 postseason could take another step forward tonight, as Atlanta tries to finish off the Dodgers. Or, it could take another 2020esque turn, and things could get dicey fast down in Georgia.
Ian Anderson takes the mound for the home club, hoping to continue his success in the postseason (2.25 ERA). In somewhat of a surprise, although less so given his last start was undermined by “dead arm,” Max Scherzer is unable to go in Game 6, even on five days’ rest. Walker Buehler will hop ahead of him, with Scherzer potentially emerging as a major stopper in a potential Game 7 tomorrow.
