Hey, we got a series in Boston, where the Red Sox and Houston are tied in the early going, one game apiece.
Given the prodigious offensive output so far in this battle, Murphy’s Law could kick in and find an apparent weak pitching matchup to be the game where finally a starter takes a no-hitter into the sixth.
But, probably not.
Tonight pits Boston’s Eduardo Rodriguez against Houston’s José Urquidy. The bullpens are already fatigued, so even if the starters wheeze to mid-game — Urquidy the better bet there, but Rodriguez better-rested — the bats could pummel the reliever just as likely.
