The White Sox have won big in the opening game of each home series this year (OK, this is only the third, but still ... ), but every other game has been a loss. If that unfortunate pattern is going to change against Boston today would be the best chance, as Garrett Crochet is throwing for the other side tomorrow.
Today’s pitching matchup definitely looks favorable, with Martín Pérez, trying to make it three terrific starts in a row for the White Sox. Pérez takes on Richard Fitts, who has barely scraped out two quality starts, with almost identical six-inning, six-hit, three-run, four-strikeouts performances against Toronto and Texas.
