The White Sox treated their fans at U.S. Cellular Field, and those watching on television and listening to the radio, to a epic win just when we all needed it the most.
Down 7-0 heading into the bottom of the third inning, the Sox (32-32) fought back to tie the score in the ninth and walked off with a 10-9, 12-inning victory over the Tigers in the opener of the three-game series. It was also the biggest comeback by the Good Guys since June 28, 2002 when they overcame an 8-0 deficit at home to defeat the Cubs, 13-9.
