Enigma reliever from Paul DeJong trade struggling with White Sox roster case in AFL

The Chicago White Sox never expected a great return when they traded veteran infielder Paul DeJong to the Kansas City Royals in June of 2024. DeJong, after all, signed for just $1.75 million, but the White Sox were able to capitalize on the Royals' desperation to extract a lottery ticket.
