The White Sox are riding a season-high four-game winning streak entering Friday night’s game against the Indians at Guaranteed Rate Field.
The Sox (27-29) are one game behind the Indians (28-28) for second place in the American League Central.
“It’s a step to where we want to go,” shortstop Tim Anderson said of the prospects of second place.
Anderson didn’t place too much importance on second place.
“We want to be in first place and we want to keep working and keep getting better,” he said. “We’re going to stay hungry.
