“Deep Dive” focuses on the depth of each position in the White Sox organization. Each position is made up of five parts:

- Depth in A-Ball (Kannapolis through Winston-Salem)
- Depth in the higher levels (Birmingham Charlotte)
- Under the Radar-type detail on a White Sox player
- Free-agent options
With Eloy Jiménez pretty much cemented with the White Sox for the next several years, the club likely won’t be looking at this list of free agent third basemen with the idea of a full-time starter at that position — unless they move Eloy to the designated hitter role.
