Jose Abreu hit his 18th homer, a two-run blast (click on top link below), while Adam LaRoche went 4-5 with an RBI (click on bottom link) as the White Sox dropped the opener of the three-game series to the Yankees. LaRoche, called upon to pitch in the ninth inning, also tossed a perfect frame with a strikeout (pictured below).
