The Cubs and White Sox are playing at home Friday – and both teams are in first place more than a month into the season. Chicago Tribune photographer Armando L. The inconvenience of winning will end, like road repair or dental work, leaving us the better for the trouble. In the meantime, the White Sox and the Cubs thoughtlessly carry on as if this is how it is supposed to be.
