Crooked numbers scar triumphant Sox linescore

What a way to end a spring.

The Chicago White Sox — and more accurately, their B- and C-squads — refused to mail in their Cactus League finale, drubbing the Milwaukee Brewers, 16-1, at Camelback Ranch.

Chris Volstad got the default start and went three strong (two hits, two Ks) for his first win of the spring. The veteran righthander threw 14 innings in Arizona and will head into the AAA Charlotte Knights rotation pocketing a perfect 0.00 spring ERA.

Gregory Infante and Ryan Burr pitched scoreless innings in relief, sandwiched around an outstanding outing from Spencer Adams.
