Crochet Dominates in Victory Over Blue Jays

Starting pitcher Garrett Crochet didn’t waste any time getting his first strikeout on the first batter of the game. He tossed a total of 6.0 innings, striking out 4 while not allowing a single hit until the bottom of the fifth inning.

White Sox offense struck first in the second. Korey Lee reached base on a throwing error by third baseman Ernie Clement. Nicky Lopez knocked an RBI single to score Lee on an electric slide home.

Corey Julks tacked on two more runs in the top of the fifth inning after an Andrew Vaughn walk and Eloy Jiménez double.
