In addition to his occasional play-by-play duties alongside analyst Darrin Jackson, McKnight will host “White Sox Weekly,” as well as Sox pregame and postgame shows for the station and White Sox radio network affiliates.
McKnight was the 2016-17 White Sox radio host on WLS-AM 890, but the station owner Cumulus Media convinced a bankruptcy judge in early 2018 to void “extremely unprofitable contracts, including those with the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls.”
The White Sox would spend the next three seasons with WGN-AM 720 before moving to WMVP after last season.
