Chicago White Sox reportedly sign prep pitcher Jared Kelley, their second-round draft pick from Texas

Kelley, from Refugio High School (Texas), was the No. 47 pick in this month’s amateur draft. He was the 2019-20 Gatorade National Player of the Year and had a 0.43 ERA in his prep career.

The Sox announced the signing of pitcher Garrett Crochet, their first-round pick from Tennessee, to a minor-league contract with a $4,547,500 signing bonus on Monday.
