Chicago White Sox rally with 5 runs in the 8th inning to beat the Minnesota Twins 9-5

José Abreu hit a three-run home run as part of a five-run eighth inning as the Chicago White Sox rallied to beat the Minnesota Twins 9-5 on Tuesday at Guaranteed Rate Field.

The Sox bounced back in the bottom of the eighth. Pinch hitter Andrew Vaughn knocked in Adam Engel with a single to tie the game.

With two outs and two on, Billy Hamilton singled to left against reliever Hansel Robles, driving in Zack Collins with the go-ahead run. Abreu followed with a three-run home run.

Abreu went 3-for-5 with four RBIs and three runs and Yoán Moncada had three hits, including a two-run home run, as the Sox won for the ninth time in 11 games.
