Dylan Cease allowed three runs on seven hits in five innings Wednesday for the Chicago White Sox in a 7-2 loss to the Minnesota Twins at Guaranteed Rate Field. Cease struck out five and walked two.
Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson broke a 1-all tie with a two-out, two-run single in the fifth against Cease. Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco hit a three-run homer against reliever Codi Heuer in the sixth as the teams split the four-game series.
