With third baseman Yoan Moncada out with a hand injury, the Chicago White Sox called up their no. 11 prospect Jake Burger on Friday morning. He made his major league debut that same night. Burger was drafted 11th overall in the 2017 MLB Draft by the White Sox but had to overcome two Achilles tendon injuries and a heel injury to get to where he is today.
