From favorite Sox greats to local celebrities, you never know who you may see at Guaranteed Rate Field. Celebrity sightings started early this season, and gained momentum with the Sox recent nine-game homestand from April 26-May 5. We got to catch up with several other well-known ballpark guests.
Gashi
The 26-year-old hip-hop artist threw out the ceremonial first pitch on April 26 vs. the Detroit Tigers. Gashi has gone through a challenging journey to get to where he is now. Born in Libya, Gashi and his Kosovo war refugee parents bounced around several countries throughout Europe when he was a child.
