Star-studded celebrity sightings continued in August with an appearance by Country Music Television award-winning artist Scotty McCreery. Between topping the charts with the u21161 hit “Five More Minutes” and promoting his newest album “Seasons Change,” McCreery returned to the South Side to warm up the mound for his buddy Carlos Rodón. The two pitchers attended college together at North Carolina State, where they were fishing buddies.
McCreery was a pitcher through high school. When asked about his favorite baseball memories, he said that he loved to pitch but often had more fun in the bullpen spitting seeds and passing time until getting the call.
