Carlos Rodon progress report: There's plenty of work to do

Matt Holliday smashed a grand slam 430 feet into the left-field stands Tuesday night to put a final ugly dent in White Sox rookie Carlos Rodon's first start of the second half.

Sox manager Robin Ventura had said before the game that he thought Rodon had progressed since his debut in April, but Tuesday demonstrated the left-hander, who is a little more than a year removed from college, has more progress to be made this season.
