Top prospect Andrew Vaughn continued to make a strong case for starting the season on the White Sox roster, hitting a three-run homer Tuesday against the Texas Rangers.

“He has no fear,” hitting coach Frank Menechino said. “He has his own approach, he knows what works and it’s just going to be getting reps up here. And I don’t doubt he’ll be able to make adjustments.”

In December 2015, it appeared Shelby Miller might be headed elsewhere.
