Breast Cancer Awareness Month: The Story of Lesley Shworles, A Pink Ribbon Warrior

In celebration of Mother’s Day and Major League Baseball’s annual “Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer” initiative, the Chicago White Sox recognized Lesley Shworles as an Honorary Bat Girl during a home game this past May. The day of acknowledgment, made possible by a nomination from her daughter, Miranda, commended Shworles for her unwavering commitment to those in need, while applauding her fight and ongoing support against this terrible disease.
