KANSAS CITY, Mo. – White Sox center fielder Adam Eaton returns to the lineup Saturday against the Royals, the day after he suffered a jammed left shoulder while making a tumbling catch.
Eaton left Friday’s loss to the Royals in the fourth inning after running and reaching back to catch Ben Zobrist’s fly ball. He said after the game that an MRI and X-ray were clear and he hoped to return to play Saturday.
Eaton has been dealing with a sore shoulder since trying to make a diving catch while in Cleveland late last month.
“I’ve been dealing with it,” Eaton said Friday.
