Today’s News

Last Night’s Highlights

In last night’s tight 5–4 home loss to the Royals, José Abreu smashed his 20th and 21st homers of the season, both solo shots, to become the first player in White Sox history with four consecutive seasons of at least 20 home runs to start his career.

With his second inning single, Nicky Delmonico became the first in Sox history to reach base safely in the first 11 games of his major-league tenure.

Also, Leury García drove in a pair of runs with a single and James Shields had a quality start, allowing three runs in six innings while striking out a season-high eight batters.
